I know its a bit late to be posting about this, but whatever. Lol. Anyway, I hope you guys enjoyed the class outing in December. I know some things didn't work out, like Mdm Hazwah not coming, but at least Miss Sameerah did and she even brought us CURRY PUFFS :p. I'm sorry to those who couldn't come, but no worries, there's going to be another outing soon this year!
I need to know if you guys prefer it to be in June or in December. There's a polling thing at the tagboard place, so start polling! This time, I'm not forcing anyone to go for our future outing. If you dont want to go, its your loss! x]

Okay, READ CAREFULLY, this is sort of like the briefing . xD

Meet at

BEDOK INTERCHANGE PHONE BOOTH.

Be there by

9:45 am.

Attire:

CLASS T-SHIRT & anything for the bottom.
(and slippers. If you wanna wear shoes then good luck. lol)

Things to bring:

FOOD - eg: Noodles? haha. -> (Try to reduce junk food please.)
Water Bottle -> (I'm not making it compulsory to bring huge soft drinks, so if no one brings it, then you people better have your water bottles or you wont have anything to drink. Unless you wanna buy in Sentosa :] )
Extra clothes - top + bottom + personal stuff. Lol. -> (For girls, please bring black t-shirt because you wont wanna swim in the class-tee since its white in colour.)
Money! -> (Nothing is cheap there.)
Towel -> (If you swim, you need to dry yourself right. )
Ez-link card! (There will be a lot of travelling , so yeah.)

Optional stuff:

DRINKS. -> (Any kind soul would like to bring those huge bottles of soft drinks? Lol, if not, everyone just has to drink from their water bottles :] )

Journey Info:

From Bedok Inter, we'll take the train to Outram Park, then continue with another train to Harbour Front. From there, we can either go to Harbour Front Bus Terminal and take the Sentosa BUS to go the Sentosa and alight at Beach Station, or we can go the Sentosa Station which is in Vivocity (3rd level) and take a train to Beach Station. When we're at Beach Station, we'll settle down at Siloso Beach or we can choose to go to Palawan Beach or Tanjong Beach by Sentosa's Tram.

If you don't understand what I explained, then don't bother trying to understand, I'll lead the way (:

Costs:

Sentosa BUS is $3 per person.
Sentosa Station is $3 per person. (I think.)
Admission Fee: $3 per person.

I'M NOT SURE ABOUT THIS.
I dont know if you take the BUS or train you still have to pay for the admission fee thing. Since I dunno, so just make sure you guys bring money okay!!

Activities :

Well , a lot of you are asking what we're going to do there. To be completely honest, I really have no idea. LOL. Okay, but this is what I THINK we're gonna do -

Picnic - Thats why I said its important that every single one of you bring FOOD.
Play ball games - Thats why we need a Volley Ball and a Soccer Ball.
Bonding games - Let me handle that. You guys just participate.
Swim. :D
Take pictures? -.-
Er, explore sentosa? haha, there's quite a lot to do there, we just need the money. lol. We'll only do that if we're dead bored and have nothing to do. But about that, we'll discuss on the day itself. [:

8th of November is Hari Raya Haji. -.-

Okay here's the thing.
Mdm Hazwah said she's free on
ANY days in the last week of november
and the second week of december.
I know you guys got camps
CCAs, and stuff like that .
So whats going to happen is,
Those who are in the same CCA,
like for example Sabrina and Zakiah
are in modern dance right?
So one of them (doesn't matter who)
will text me, and tell me on which days
they have CCA practises and camps
(dont forget to tell me what time is starts and ends)
Okay? So I can narrow down the dates

Okay , here's the results.

Er, I didnt receive Aisyah,
Shermaine, and KaiYu's votes
but even if they voted for chalet
it'd make no difference because the
3 added up wouldn't be enough to
beat sentosa's votes.
BUT here's the thing .
If a lot of people cant make it to
sentosa, we'd have to change plans.
Chalet maybe? But if its too late to
book, then we'd think of something else.
For now, the confirmed location for
the outing is sentosa. No worries,
I'll be meeting Mdm Hazwah on monday

My very first post ;
*wide grins*

I wish to say my big thanks for being such wonderful classmates for 2 years who stood by me and indirectly cheered me up with your constant support and laughter.
No doubt our 2 years together was full of laughter and fun , even though some of the guys here can be such a pain in the ass sometimes (:
Others might regard us as all being freaky super studious nerds and geeks who are all about books and grades, but my opinions differ.
We had our best moments together and I'll cherish them always.
My enormous apologies for the pain I caused to your ears , too .
I know my constant screamings can make you all deaf temporarily and I am melodramatic at times which can be very irritating . Tsk, one of my flaws.
So, separation is afterall a path we all have to go through so I guess its time now we take our different directions .
Be it promoted to 3/1, 3/2,3/3, 3/4 or 3/5, I hope you guys will still keep in mind where we all came from and don't hesitate to say a simple hello to regard each others' presence if we pass by each other.
Might be too early, but all the best for our coming O levels too in 2010 , you can bet on that day , I'll be rooting for all of you . Study hard and keep your chin up even if they're setbacks and obstacles along the way. I look forward to bump into you guys one day be it in 10 or 15 years' time on the streets and all of you will be leading happy lives secured with super successful jobs with big smiles on your faces . Oh , and all of us will be reminscing on our silly times together and laughing in hysterics . I am completely determined you guys will have successful lives , so don't let me down ! (:

Work in the groups that you have been assigned for the Sungei Buloh fieldtrip.

You are required to present and submit your work in Term 3 Week 1.

Imagine that you and your group members are volunteers of the Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve. Your group has been designated to prepare a presentation that will help to educate primary school students on the importance of the conservation of wildlife.

Remember the following:

Target audience: Primary school students

Objective of presentation: To allow the primary school students to appreciate the need of environmental conservation

Type of Presentation: a skit using puppetry.

You have attended the Term 1 EL Speech and Drama Course (Puppetry).

Therefore, you are to make use of the knowledge that you have been acquired during the course to prepare a presentation that would captivate the attention of your target audience.

In your presentation, you should:
-Make your own paper puppets (e.g. birds, flowers, characters, etc)
-Incorporate music and sound effects if necessary
-Make use of props to enhance your role play

Reflection:
Each member in the group is also required to submit a reflection of the fieldtrip.

Below are some guiding questions for your reflection:

-What did I do during the fieldtrip to Sungei Buloh?
-What is the most memorable part of the fieldtrip?

CLASS T-SHIRTS.

Okay, shuuuuh! i know i look drunk, but this pic was taken

once we reached RedHill.

THIS. Well. i know we look weird. so. SHUUUUUH!!!

okay, so looking at the pictures im sure you'll guessed

it already. WE WENT TO REDHILL FOR THE SHIRTS!

haha. i mean, Shirly, Jeannette and I went to RedHill.

Like, FINALLY right? haha. HEY. good thing the 3 of us

volunteered okay. =.= sooooo. yeah, the shirts, the shirts.

IT WAS COMPLICATED I TELL YOU.

i mean, all the colours and all.

but the 3 of us done it, so. yeah.

please dont complain if you dont like the colours...

and no worries, theres no pink. =.=

hmm... so yeah, the aunty was nice enough to

not raise the prize. YAY! haha. so, actually,

we had to choose what type of shirt we want.

either those jersy shirts, polo shirts or just those

normal cotton shirts. we picked cotton shirts.

firstly because we figured you all wont want polo,

and the jersy. well, you'll sweat a lot in it.

PLUS, we asked Mdm Hazwah about it , and she

also said cotton. (: so, yeah. hmmm...

then then, er. the dimensions. OKAY, dont kill us.

we had to come up with dimensions for the shirt

like, the dimensions for the logo and all.

so tell you the truth, WE SUCKED AT IT.

the logo might be too big, so we're sorry. :X

BUT i told the aunty to make adjustments for us

and decide for us most of the things because we're

really new to t-shirt making, so she said OKAY!

ermmmm. that aunty will call either me, Jeannette or Xinyi

about when we can come again to take the sample

shirts. with the sample shirts, you all can comfirm your sizes,

then after the sizes taking is done, we'll go there again

and start the whole t-shirt making process.

yeah, mainly thats it. oh, wait,

we paid the deposit, which is half of the total prize,

which means its erm... $296 i think.

i have the receipt so if any of your parents want

to look at it, tell me, and i'll photocopy it for you. Fair?

and last time, i already told you all to check your name

spelling. So if you all didnt check, and it turns out that

I spelt it wrongly, its not my fault, and i cant redo the process.

okay, so... oh, yeah.

on the last day, i might need a handful of you to help carry

the shirts to school. HEY, its 37 shirts you cant expect

the 2 of us to carry it right? so yeah, please volunteer yourself.

sorry for dragging it for sooooooo long.
anw, it'll take about two weeks or earlier for all the tees to be done
